At Bear Hollow Schnauzers and Grooming in Newark, Ohio, our journey began with a profound love for Miniature Schnauzers. We're dedicated to raising healthy, happy puppies that become cherished family members, and providing top-notch grooming services for dogs under 40 lbs. We believe a happy puppy starts with happy parents. Our moms and dads are AKC or CKC registered and Embarked health-tested. Moms and dads live side-by-side with us in our home, (and in our bed!) ensuring well-socialized and healthy pups. Our pregnant mothers receive top-quality prenatal care, including daily vitamins and a private, equipped birthing room for a calm, safe delivery. Each birthing area has its own camera so we can keep a close eye on mom and her babies. We meticulously monitor newborns with daily weigh-ins and ensure a clean, nurturing environment, all designed to foster strong bonding and healthy development for your future family member.

More than just a puppy

Adopting from Bear Hollow means receiving unparalleled support and peace of mind. Every Bear Hollow Baby comes with lifetime support, a starter sample of IAMS puppy food, comprehensive shot and vet visit records, daily weigh-in records for their first two weeks, and a puppy starter gift bag. Local adopters enjoy a lifetime of fixed-price grooming at Bear Hollow: $45 for our pups, and $65 for other dogs in your family under 40 lbs. Puppies receive first shots, worming, and dew claw removal; tails are docked unless a higher non-refundable deposit of $500 is placed for a full tail. This higher deposit is to guarantee the homing of your new family member. There is a short window for tail docking after the pups birth, once that window has passed we no longer consider it safe to dock.

We offer weekly photo updates as your puppy grows and a lifetime return policy, ensuring our pups are always cared for. Our puppies are for pet homes only. A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to choose your baby, with the remaining balance due at pick up.

Babies will not be held until a deposit is received.      

       LIFE TIME RETURN                            POLICY

All pups from Bear Hollow are welcome to return to us at any time during their life span. We know things and life can happen. We want to know our babies will be taken care of for life. If you need to surrender your Bear Hollow pup or adult dog to us, no monies will be returned. You can know your family member will be well taken care of and a new well screened home found.
